• Cambrinus - Beer and traditional Belgian dishes at its best

• Vlisshinghe café - The oldest pub in town, traditional dishes

• In de Vlaamsche Pot - Traditional Belgian dishes

• de Republiek - Trendy place and great food and one of the most beautiful terraces 

• Lokedize - great place and honest food for a good price, great atmosphere

• Ribs’n Beers - Delicious spareribs (as much as you can eat) with the best chocolate-beer sauce in town

• Het Nieuw Museum - If you like a great steak, for meat lovers (local beef and short supply chain) prepared with lots of love, great atmosphere

• Shalimaar - Indian food at its best (not in the centre)

With kids

In the city center we have some recommendations with children: 

• Ribs'n Beer for the best ribs all you can eat with chocolate-beer sauce (delicious!) or other toppings

• Bavette for great pasta

• Otomat for a delicious pizza

• That's toast for an original small lunch on a sandwich (be sure to check their photos on social media) 

• a delicious bagel (also with sweet toppings for the kids) at the Sansevaria (take-away or eat-in)
